The Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Technologies Facility at IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (IITTNiF) is dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and indigenous technology development in PNT systems, with a particular emphasis on India’s NavIC satellite navigation system and next-generation Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).

Equipped with advanced infrastructure, including GNSS signal simulators, RF test and measurement instruments, Software-Defined Radio (SDR) and FPGA platforms, antenna measurement systems, and precision timing and synchronization systems, the facility enables comprehensive research, testing, validation, and prototype development.

Through collaborative research, industry engagement, hands-on training, and its Lab as a Service (LaaS) model, the facility fosters innovation, capacity building, and technology transfer. Aligned with the national visions of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047, IITTNiF is committed to strengthening India’s indigenous PNT capabilities and advancing technological excellence in satellite navigation and precision timing.
